Basalt Health and Fitness (BHF) is the mid-Valley's friendliest and most affordable fitness center. Our mission is to provide a workout environment where the fit, and soon to be fit, will feel comfortable and right at home. At BHF, you are family! BHF offers a full line of Cybex pin-set weight machines, as well as free weights. Cardio machines include four Cybex treadmills, two Star Trac ellipticals, a Precor stair stepper, and a Cybex arc trainer. Most of the cardio machines have personal televisions, to which you may connect with your own headphones. We’ve also got a full Cycling studio with 14 Schwinn IC Pro stationary bikes and one (Cybex) recumbent stationary bike - none of which will get you anywhere, but in shape! Locker rooms, towel use, and a kids' playoom with video, too.

BHF is staffed full time. We can provide instruction and guidance on the equipment so you get the most from your workout any time you are here. We offer one-on-one training with personal trainers, as well as group programs ranging from focused and meditative Tai Chi and Yoga to the wildly unconstrained (but no less focused and meditative) Zumba dance, and the incredible TRX (Strap It On and core) classes. Who said exercise can’t be fun? Our instructors will work at your pace to bring you up to speed, build your endurance, and help you reach your peak physical condition.
